A long way up hill,
Stairs,
Stairs,
She dare not rest.
Wall over wall,
A successful victory?
Not!
A war, her husband.
A battle, her son.
Alone and dismayed,
Indeed she was!
Lost with remorse.
Karma?
She saw it as one.
The top of the hill,
Heaven she saw!
A long journey.
Yet time flew by.
Alone at last,
Yet alone,
She always was.
An unhappy funeral,
For the husband and son.
Not for death,
But for green itself.
A successful war,
She finally had.
The hill, life it was.
Wall over wall,
A successful victory?
Not!
A war, her husband.
A battle, her son.
Alone and dismayed,
Indeed she was!
Lost with remorse.
Karma?
She saw it as one.
The top of the hill,

Yet time flew by.
Alone at last,
Yet alone,

An unhappy funeral,
For the husband and son.
Not for death,
But for green itself.
A successful war,
She finally had.
The hill, life it was.
