Morning brings a
light joy,
Amongst the
warmest hearts,
The mother wide
awake,
Tending her sick
child,
She holds him to
her bosom,
A clear sign of
affection; love.
A tear runs
down,
An unforeseen
drizzle,
She gets on her
knees,
And begins a
long prayer.
The son, dazed,
but curious,
Overlooks his
loving mother.
Oh, how many
times we see
The battle of
life,
And the mother,
like a warrior,
Ready for
battle.
A mother's love
is ubiquitous,
Unconditional,
Wise,
Everlasting.
Such as God's
love.
Could it be that
our Creator,
With His
almighty hands,
Transmitted such
potential
To all women of
virtue?
She holds great
power,
And she dare not
waste it.
Mother, you are
brave,
Victorious,
Triumphant,
God could not
have created
Love as much as
yours,
He created you
With so many
purposes
That one cannot
easily convey,
I just have to
say that through you,
I have met love,
patience, knowledge,
and more than
anything
The path that is
Jesus Christ.
And through Him,
I will bow at our Creator.
The first thing
I will thank Him for
Is for placing
you in my life.
I don't know
what tomorrow brings,
But I know that
you stand ground,
And will guide
me, as you have all these years.
Three words
cannot illustrate all I feel,
But it is a
start, I love you.
