If only I weren't just broken
glass,
In a shattered place,
Where broken dreams,
Are nothing but a thought.
We search and look,
But nothing do we ever see,
Distorted and alone,
Our visions are destroyed.
Full of remorse,
Slowly, confusion arose,
Of who was to blame,
For those lost hopes.
In a shattered place,
Where broken dreams,
Are nothing but a thought.
We search and look,
But nothing do we ever see,
Distorted and alone,
Our visions are destroyed.
Full of remorse,
Slowly, confusion arose,
Of who was to blame,
For those lost hopes.

Good poem,
ReplyDeleteI have found that the confusion can either get better or worse over time...

P.S would you get rid of the word verification?
Hey! Thank you for visiting.
DeleteYes, I got rid of the word verification. Thank you for bringing it to my attention. I was not aware that was on. I find that to be annoying as well.

Hey, new here :)
ReplyDeleteI must say this is the story of my life in 12 lines. Maybe not my whole life, but big chunks of it. What makes this so great is that you were able to give imagery to despair.
Thank you for reading. I do apologize for replying late. I appreciate your feedback! Hope all is well now! Keep moving forward!
